Reading slowly
I used to polish off a book in a week when I was younger not anymore. It took me over a month to read a standard sized novel. Either I am picking books that are boring which is a possibility considering I buy books half priced and half priced books are generally not the greatest books around. Another possibility is I am picking books that no longer interest me like they used to. The third possibility is computer games are so much more interesting than reading a book. I pick number 3.

I agree, there are so many distraction nowadays, with all the new technology - we forget about simple entertainment, such as books.
ReplyDeleteI used to read like there was no tomorrow and so many things distracted me from that interest. :(
So I am not the only one distracted by technology. That's good to know. I was beginning to think I was a scatterbrain. :-)
